Fitting Roller Blinds and Zebra Blinds

During the ordering process as we were asked for the control position (right, left) and fitting options (exact, recess) we will have positioned the controls and prepare the blind accordingly.

The brackets that are supplied with your blind enable you to face-fix the blind onto a wall/window frame, or top-fix the blind onto the ceiling/underside of a recess. As our Roller Blinds also comes with an Head Rail as an advantage compared to the cheap blinds in the market it is very easy to mount with only a clip to hold it in place.

Top Fix (to the window frame)

  • Measure and mark the distance allowing for obstructions like handles that protrude into the recess area.
  • To calculate the spacing between the brackets, add 35mm (13/8”) to the width of the blind fabric. Hold each bracket into place and mark the hole positions. Fix the brackets so that the outsides of the brackets are this distance apart. Fit each bracket using the screws provided.
  • Brackets must be level to ensure the smooth operation of the blind.
  • Check that the rolled up fabric will not touch any surface.
  • Please ensure fixings are suitable for the wall/surface to which you are mounting the brackets.
  • Hold the blind to the brackets with the fabric hanging from the back of the blind.
  • First locate the ‘pin’ (the end of the blind opposite to the controls) into the bracket, then fix the control end into the opposite bracket. Push the blind into the bracket, depressing the plunger.
  • Allow the hook to drop downwards so that it locks into place in the bracket.
